Ian Jackson, Staff Reporter

Major: Journalsim

Year: Junior

Twitter: @IanNicholas42

Ian is a transfer student ready to start a new journey here at Roosevelt University majoring in Journalism. I am originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I have always thought it is important to get the truth out there and let the people know what is going on in today’s society. I love writing about sports and getting people’s opinions about sports as well, that is why I started writing sports pages at my community college at the College of Lake County. And that has driven me to become a member of the Torch and soon live my dream career of working for ESPN. Other than the Torch my interests are music, sports, art, and spending time with my family.

  2. Ms. Schuller:
A note asking a favor. I am an adjunct in the Heller College of Business. I have a grandson that needs to interview an editor of a college newspaper ( A requirement for a merit badge – he is an Eagle Scout candidate). Can you be that editor? If so, what afternoon would be convenient for you.
    Thank You in advance!
