Taking Over the Streets in the Chicago Marathon

Chicagoans and other marathon enthusiasts filled the streets for the annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon. In this yearly event on Oct. 7, people from around the world in the fourth biggest race in the world. The race was limited to 45,000 participants and had to finish within six-and-a-half hours in order to be timed. Torch photographer An Phan covered this event in downtown Chicago and took photos of one of the most exciting races in the country.
