The annual Oktoberfest Chicago took place at St. Alphonsus from Sept. 28-30. For three days, the festival invited people to come and enjoy German foods and drinks. The festival also included a melting pot of other cuisines to join in, from Hispanic to Asian. There were two stages, one in a tent for people to enjoy while eating and drinking, the other in the middle of the stalls for people to enjoy while looking around. Many local bands played on the stages, such as Polklaholics and Rosie & the Rivets. Stalls advertising and selling products were also featured for people to see and shop at. There were games and activities for the kids to have fun and play, such as the strongman game. Families and friends enjoyed their weekend filled with foods, drinks, games, and music at the Oktoberfest Chicago.
