After a great season last year with people on the edge of their seats with every play, the Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl last year and Peyton Manning was able to ride into the sunset winning another title and retire. But now a new season is upon us. Fresh turf, the roar of the crowd, the smell of fresh popcorn and other concession stand food, the autographs fans receive after the game all signal the start to what is sure to be another exciting season.

With last season’s potential superstars like Jameis Winston, and Marcus Mariota and this year’s new breed of talent in Dak Prescott, Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Ezekiel Elliott and more, this season surely will not disappoint. Fans are already getting their fantasy teams lined up with hopes of earning bragging rights to family and friends and while also trying to get some money out of it.
And while the season is still very young, it is never too early to mull over who will win it all in Houston, TX on February 5, 2017.

Administrative Secretary of Career Development Arturo Zavala, an organizational leader major, offered his thoughts on what may happen this season.

“The New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl this year, because they are my team of choice,” Zavala said. And according ESPN Index through three weeks of play, the Pats are odds on favorites to win the Super Bowl. Because Tom Brady is suspended for the first four games, all eyes will be on backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to get the team off on the right track.

Emily Komendera, a career counselor for the university, is rooting for the Carolina Panthers.
“I think the Carolina Panthers will win this season because I want Cam Newton to get his redemption for Last year when the Denver Broncos beat him,” Komendera said. With wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin returning from injury earlier in the season last year, Cam Newton and the Panthers are ready to return to the promise land and get that Super Bowl trophy. The odds of the Panthers winning this year following ESPN index is 12 to one odds.

Angela Tidwell, Senior Secretary of Student Accounts, made a prediction for what will happen this.
“Since I know it’s not going to be the Bears I think it’s going to be Panthers vs Broncos again but this time the Panthers are going to win because since Peyton Manning was going to retire last season they rigged it for him so this time Cam is going to take it,” Tidwell said.
