After stealing the stage in her appearances on “The Daily Show,” comedian Samantha Bee was ready for something more. Her natural talent, comedic timing and obvious enthusiasm all shine in her new late night comedy show on TBS, “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.”

Though the program itself is just a mere three episodes in, it is clear that it has all of the components to make a phenomenal late night show. Much akin to “The Daily Show” in terms of topic, the show gives a different perspective on the goings on of our country and its politics.

Bee, who is the only current female late night show host, offers a great voice that questions and pokes fun at the country’s current election in a way that is reminiscent of Jon Stewart.

She’s proven she can hit hard too, most recently taking shots at what she declared is a not so moderate Republican candidate John Kasich by outing him in regards to his views on abortion rights and Planned Parenthood.

What makes Bee’s show so great is its ability to get at those harder stories and point out the hypocrisy of our country’s leaders and turn it all into something to laugh at. This is not an easy task, but so far, Bee and her writers are proving that they have the ability to do just that.
